The GoldenKey Suites are located in the first building of the Steingasse pedestrian zone when coming from Augsburg’s Rathausplatz. A good landmark is the distinctive tower structure and the Bäckerei Wolf bakery on the ground floor. The entrance door to the building is located at the back.

🚗 1. Arrival by Car & Parking
The address is located in the pedestrian zone, just a few steps from Rathausplatz.
Direct access by car is not possible. You can drive up to approx. 75 meters via Karolinenstraße, but parking options there are extremely limited.
Since driving directly to the house is restricted, we recommend parking in one of the nearby parking garages.
🚆 2. Arrival by Train & Public Transport
Augsburg Central Station (Augsburg Hbf) is your main arrival point.
From Augsburg Central Station (approx. 10 minutes) Tram (fastest option):
Walk to the tram stop Augsburg Hbf.
Take Line 4 (direction P+R Augsburg Nord) or Line 1 (direction Lechhausen Ost).
Ride to the stop Rathausplatz.
From Rathausplatz, it’s only a 1–2 minute walk to Steingasse 8.
Walking (approx. 15–20 minutes):
Walk along Bahnhofstraße towards Königsplatz, then follow the main street (Maximilianstraße) straight to Rathausplatz.
✈️ 3. Arrival by Plane
Augsburg is well connected to two major airports::
From Munich Airport (MUC)
Lufthansa Express Bus (recommended): The Lufthansa Express Bus connects Munich Airport directly with the long-distance bus station in Augsburg (approx. 1 hour 15 minutes).
Continue from there:
The Augsburg long-distance bus station is just a short walk from Augsburg Central Station. From the station, take tram Line 1 or 4 to Rathausplatz.
Train connection: Alternatively, take the S-Bahn from Munich Airport to Munich Central Station, then continue by regional train or ICE to Augsburg Central Station (total travel time approx. 1.5–2 hours).
From Memmingen Airport (FMM – Allgäu Airport)
Bus and Train: Take the airport bus to Memmingen train station, then a train to Augsburg Central Station (total travel time approx. 1.5 hours).
Continue from Augsburg Hbf: Take tram Line 1 or 4 to Rathausplatz.
