You can't get more central than this: Stay in the 61 square meter Goldenkey Suite "Rathausplatz"—right on the Town Hall Square in Augsburg's Old Town.

This modern apartment with two rooms and an open-plan kitchen with a dining area was newly and luxuriously furnished in 2025.

The expansive window fronts overlook the Rathausplatz. The suite is located on the 1st floor (European standard). The windows are highly insulated, which ensures the suite is quiet. However, opening the large, floor-to-ceiling sliding windows places you directly into the lively atmosphere of the Steingasse pedestrian zone.

☕️ Take the elevator to breakfast! Breakfast and snacks are available daily from 7 AM to 7 PM. The flagship store of the extremely popular bakery and patisserie Wolf is conveniently located on the ground floor.

Layout

The high-quality equipped apartment accommodates up to 5 adults/children, plus an additional 1–2 toddlers (up to 3 years old).

The suite features a small bedroom. A sleeping area can be set up in the spacious living room, offering space for 3 further adults. Additionally, up to 2 cribs/baby beds can be provided. The open-plan kitchen and dining area is generously designed. The apartment features a large bathroom with its own washer-dryer (a combined washing and drying unit).

Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation is available up to 7 days before the start of the reserved parking period.

Parking reservations can only be made on a nightly basis.

Important Information

Access to the parking area is via Karolinenstraße and then through the pedestrian zone. We will provide a special access permit for your vehicle.

During major events (such as the Christmas Market, Augsburg Summer Nights, Light Nights, or other city events), vehicle access may only be possible during the morning hours. In such cases, the parking fee will, of course, be fully refunded.

Sleeping Arrangements

Look forward to our special Goldenkey Sleeping Comfort with a modern box-spring bed and a high-quality sofa bed with slatted frame and Sensoform™ mattress.

The bedroom features a modern Box Spring King-Size bed (180x200) topped with a continuous comfort topper. The underlying mattresses are cleverly divided to ensure customized, two-person sleeping comfort (minimizing motion transfer).

The sleeping area in the spacious living room contains a high-quality, supremely comfortable sofa bed, complete with a slatted frame and a premium Sensoform mattress. The sofa bed can be prepared as a full double bed (180x200) upon request. An extra single bed (90x200) can be set up beside it.

This arrangement allows up to 5 adults to be comfortably accommodated in the suite.

Two cribs/baby beds (60x120) can be reserved for the living room.
